Cherise has a BFA in Dance from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MFA in Choreography from California Institute of the Arts. Her yoga mentors are Paul and Suzee Grilley and she has been teaching yoga for 11 years. A student of all things art and physicality she is also a capoeirista and has studied pilates and the feldenkrais method.
She believes yoga can be the backbone to any athletes self care routine and loves learning about anatomy. She is passionate about deepening her connection to her own body as well as helping others to do the same.
